A Empire Magazine já é conhecida por fazer várias e diversas “eleições cinematográficas” pra eleger os melhores disso, os piores daquilo… Dessa vez, a revista publicou nada menos que os 500 Melhores Filmes de Todos os Tempos. Os filmes foram escolhidos por leitores, uma galera lá de Hollywood – que inclui pessoas como Quentin Tarantino, Sam Mendes, Guillermo Del Toro e Cameron Crowe – e alguns críticos.

É claro que, como toda votação, essa tem algumas coisas que são, no mínimo, interessantes. No meio do Top 50 – que você pode conferir ali embaixo – podemos ver diversas surpresas, incluindo Evil Dead 2 na posição #49. Não que o filme não pertença a lista, mas com certeza é uma surpresa pra mim e pra todo mundo. Outras particularidades dessa lista são os filmes Pulp Fiction e Fight Club ficarem ali no meio do Top 10.
